Something like 5 yellow cards given out total already...crazy. I wonder how the girls are playing the body. None of them have come from such calls but it would be intresting to see.
EDIT: Make that six yellow cards...if this were basketball MD would be in trouble. They just got their fifth. NW has only one.

That's been their predicted weakness coming into the season. Maryland has been getting amazing midfield/attack year after year but needs the D to take it all the way.
Come on Terps...battle back.

i'm really surprised this is so close, way to go terps! i've got my fingers crossed.
i was supposed to be at this game, but then it got postponed to today. :(

That sucks. We got a snow day, which is why I'm able to keep track of the score online. My mom might be there though. I wish I could be there just to tell the girls how well they're doing. I bet no one thought MD could hang in there, let alone have a chance to beat NW. GOOOOO TERPS!

NW-12 MD-8
NW-13 MD-8 (with about 5 minutes left...Terps still have a chance. If they don't pull it off however that's okay because they still showed amazing promise today.)

Good effort from MD. Too many turnovers and too much stalling (by NW) from what it sounds like. I think this holds for a good season for the Terps if they raise their level of play as the season continues. They're playing Ohio and than George Mason so it should be a nice one-two punch of wins before meeting up with Duke - who I think they stand a chance to beat.

Cox and Kasper had many turnovers but both looked good. Doolittle and Richards were nonexitent. Preseason scrimmages would help. NW had a few games under their belt and it showed.

Doolittle had speed. Katie was the best transition player against NW. The defense was suspect and fell apart when the mid's didn't get back.

I have comacst cable and live in Michigan. What channel and when are htese games on? Is there any way I could wathc them?

--I live in Michigan too--the closest you can get is CSTV (some scheduled games) and ESPNU which might be comcast chanels-(i don't have comcast cable so i don't know..)-but i do know you can get them on Direct TV-
