Ok, so we had a game the other day and there was a questionable call. I get a bad pass and it hits me in the chest, rolls down and hits the top of my glove thats on my stick. Ref blows the whistle and gives the opposing team the ball. Is this a real penalty? Cuz i've never heard it called, ever.

No, if it accidentally hit your hand its a whole lot of nothing. Unless you took your hand off the crosse and attempted to hit it (assuming you're nothe goalie) or pick up the ball then its a foul.

If the gloved hand is on the stick, it's part of the stick, so it is not a foul if the ball hits your hand while the hand is on the stick, even if it is intentional.

However, I disagree with snake~eyes about intent coming into play. See:

a. Touching the ball—A player may not touch the ball with his hands while it is in play. The exception is the goalkeeper while both he and the ball are inside the crease, as provided in 4-18-a.

However, since the ball would almsot certainly be loose when the contact occurs, it would be a play-on.

alright, i questioned the ref about it and he seemed pretty sure it was a foul. I knew i was right. Thanks.

If you're playing under NFHS rules, your coach can call for a 7-13 conference and try to get the ruling corrected. The key phrase here would be that the gloved hand, while on the crosse, it part of the crosse.
