Same here. I have like five that I've just picked up from various lacrosse camps, tournaments, etc. I usually do it by accident but I'll end up keeping them even if I realize it.

yea, I just find em as well usually after a game if you look in the bushes or what not you can find them. I found this out because I was playing catch with my friend and he beamed it and it went into the bushes and i came out with like 3 balls.

I sometimes check the roof of the school where I hit the wall, usually come down with a few.

I just by one every once and a while when I go to Dick's. I also like to collect all of the different color balls. I am only missing pink(if there is one), titanium, and electric yellow.

$1 per ball is pretty darn good. I pick em up on the sidelines or stay after a game and snag all the balls no one's shagged. Saves a bunch of money and I just take the balls to my team.

Warrior makes those colors. Check out the lacrosse catalogs and you will find them. I'm pretty sure Great Atlantic sells them so check there.

I think you can dye almost anything. The dye on the ball would wear off pretty easy, though. Thanks for the info on thecolored balls, sumsum.

you can dye a ball...trust me on that too, but the dye does fade quicker

uhm... if you soak it in for a long time (like a couple hours)
then the color barely fades :D

leave the balls in for much longer than you would with a normal stick, but yea, it is possible, its cool if you spray oil on the ball too, and then dye it. the color doesn't come off onto your stick, but it will fade if you toss it around. i usally just jack balls from camps that i coach or whatever, cuz after camp, we have nothing to do with the 100-200 balls, so we give them away to kids, and keep them for ourselves. (we always use new balls for camp)

I've also heard people using glue guns on 'em which will produce the same effect as on a stick.

Warrior also makes balls that are like that (tie-dyed/marble effect). It is probably cheaper and not nearly as much effort to get those. I think GA has those ones too. My friend Liz has a pink one.

me too. But r coach doesn't like us to steal and he used 2 get mad at me for doing it so I told him I'd give him half the balls I stole to use for our team cuz our team only has like 6 balls and he was like alrite thas a deal.

Yea there is pink, i have one, my grandma got me like 18 balls.

yeah, i just buy them at galyan's. the play-it-again sports in Utah suck. in vermont, a killer condidtion C2 was $50. a carbon shaft was $10. in utah, a cascade is $80. all of their equipment sells for much too high a price. they stink. so i trade stuff and get it off of classified sites.

my coach, at a judge memorial game, their championship, nearly stole a bunch of their custom gloves and a stick or two. he was assistant coach at the time. and about 19. he's so awesome. then, some dirty judge kids did steal his stick out of his truck. and that's just because my coach THOUGHT about taking their stuff. well, that's the team joke, anyway. yeah, none of the schools i've been to, 3, in the last 4 years of lacrosse let you onto the school. so i have about 5 or 6 balls on a roof. ugh.

I have never purchased a lacrosse ball in my life and I have about 50. I have accumulated a lot because every year one of the camps I go to is run by the city and after that camp they have no use for them so they give them to me because I help the littler kids with stuff.
