At which point does the 10 second count restart?
1. Player A1 throws to Player A2 (they are both in box) It hits A2's stick and goes out of the box and A3 goes to retrieve the ball and picks it up.
2. Player A1(in the box) throws to Player A2(outside the box) it deflects off of his stick and a loose ball is created and then is picked up by A2.
3. Player A1 has possession of ball and while trying to get in the box is body checked by Player B1 who is inside the box. A1 never lands in the box.

The count begins when the ball touches anything outside the box so:
1. as soon as the ball hits the ground outside the box.
2. as soon as the ball hits A2's stick
3. A1 never had posession inside the box so the count should continue.

I believe that the count starts when the attacking team regains possession of the loose ball outside the box. The only pertinent reference I could quickly locate is the following A.R.
A.R. 70. A1 has entered the attack-goal area. He throws the ball back to A3 who is in the defensive half of the field, between the defensive-area line and the center line. When does a new 10-second count begin? RULING: When Team A has entered the attack area. Team A may pass the ball out of the attack area to anywhere on the field, but a 10-second count begins as soon as A3 gains possession.
So IMM in 1+2 the count won't start until Team A picks up the ball. I do agree with #3, he never got in the box so the original count is still on.

I think you might want to rethink this answer. If the crosse, with the ball in it, touches anything that is in the zone, then the count stops and a new count begins. See AR 69 Section 4.14. It has a very similar situation.

This depends on the crosse being hit by the body of the player in the box applying the check. And I wonder if this ever gets called correctly.
