yeah, maryland is doing much better than i ever expected. i thought the loss of howley and mollot would have been the end. but, it's really cool that they're doing so well.

Still a tough road to hoe though. They've got UVA this week at home (a 3-4 UVA which knocked off Hop in OT last week), and Hop at Homewood on the 17th. Plus the ACC tourney. That's not to diminish their play thus far though. Fear the turtle.

they may fall to UVA. cavs got off to a really good start in the semis like the did against hopkins in the finals. UVA beat hopkins in the finals...may beat UMD in the regular.

I was friends with Mike Brown, he lived the town over from me and I played lacrosse and hockey with him. He's the freshman who scored the game winning and tying goal in the win over UNC.

They might be #1 not just because of their win over UNC but because of Hop's loss to UVa. Also, UVa's hopes to go to the finals runs through Maryland. It'll be a big game with a lot riding on it. Here's hopin' the Terps pull it off though...

With Hop losing to UVA, ther'es no way they could stay #1. But there was also no way they could drop past 2, b/c they shellacked Cuse. And there really is no standout #4 at this point i the season, as many have seen. Navy/UNC/Gtown all have arguments for and against.

JHU killed them! JHU will win it all again. MD got beat by Navy. But, Navy gave JHU a run for their money. Navy has shocked everyone in the College Lacrosse world this year.
