Never heard of these guys, I'm guessing it's like Native Americans that form a team for the World Championships? Someone fill me in. Who would play on this team?

Basically you've got it. It's Native Canadians/Americans of the Iroquois nation (Mohawk, Onondaga, Tuscarora, Seneca, Cayuga and Oneida tribes) all from the border region of Ontario, Quebec and New York

i believe itr is an association of the iriquios nations, they have teams that play in the minor nationals, founders cup, and the worlds. most of the players on these teams are mainly from 3 places, six nations, awkwasasne, and onandaga. players include the above mention bomberry, squires, powlesses, and derek general, and dont forget the 14 bucktooths

They are fairly good but won't beat USA, CAN or AUS. They are usually big, strong, hard and tough men. I watched them play in the worlds in perth and I played against them in the U-19 in '99 and they are pretty rough/tough.
Some of their defenders used the 6 foot wooden poles with the traditional old school wooden heads strung with hide. Getting belted with those was not much fun...but I swaped one of my jerseys for one that they used in the game.

they got guys who play in the NLL & MLL, a good number played at D I & Syracuse has usually recruited from the Onandaga nation- Brett Bucktooth is a co-captain on the current SU team.
Other notable include Marshall Abrams also An SU grad.

Is it Ross Bucktooth? he played for the nation in the U19 World Games in '03.
He was great in that tourney and even scored 3G & 2A (see stats link)

I think he plays for Onondaga CC now:

I think I might challange you on that call, Snake, at least at this coming under 19 world championships in Canada. I believe the Iroquois have a very good chance at knocking off the Aussie under 19 squad. I'd say they even have a chance at taking out the host nation. The Iroquois have plenty of box and NCAA experience....I'm hard pressed to name a player on the Aussie under 19's who have even visited North America, let alone played there.
