Hello, I am looking for a new goalie shaft right now. Ive searched through the boards and seen that a kryptolyte seems to be a popular one as well as the kryptopro. Im just seeing what everyone thinks is the best shaft out there without any money constraits. I know that the levetation looks to be the most expensive, but Ive heard its not strong. So basically, what is the strongest shaft on the market? On the other side, what seems to be the lightest shaft on the market? What seems to be the overall best pick for a goalie shaft? Thanks for your help

Most people use a DB803 goalie. I use a AL 6000 pro but the only reason I use that is it came with it. If I had to choose, I would go for the DB803 goalie.

db803 really is a great choice. I like the STX Axe also, but the grip on the db803 makes it probably the best all around goalie shaft. Light, strong, and very grippable without tape.

Cool. What is the lightest shaft on the marekt? Im more worried about it being light than strong. Goalies dont seem to get much stick on stick contact here in az. So yea, what is the lightest out there? Also, from the strength side, ive heard stx titanium is pretty good all around. Its susposed to be pretty strong. How is the weight on that? Just questioning that because ive had a few people reccommend it. Thanks for the help

you dont really need shaft strength as a goalie, youll only take like 2 hits on the shaft all game if you run out of the cage. As for lightest its the db803.

Where in AZ do you play?
Also - While I personally don't know what shaft on the market is the lightest (I would have to even want a light shaft first), I'm sure a few of the other members would say that you should rock a kryptolyte or db803.

I think the Debeer C555 is one of the lightest on the market. u can get that as a goalie shaft at www.lacrossemonkey.com personally ive used a kryptolite the past couple of years and they're pretty reliable. They have a great weight to strength ratio. Other than that id say the db803 would be a worthy investment too.
