My wife bought me a UA shirt, and I am trying to decide if I need a larger size.

it shood b skin tight but it shood covor your whole torso. If it like rides up on your stomch it's too smll but if it just fits then its good.

Blckout20's got it. It does depend on the type of Under Armour it is though. If it is their Loose Gear then it should be like a normal t-shirt and fit loosely (along with their polo shirt and grey line).

the length in the torso was not the problem i am only 5'6" and the shirt was an XL. But it was tight enough that I was not sure that I could get it off myself, but I did after a little fight. mostly it was tight across the shoulders and back and the short sleeves ended up looking like the little cup sleeves on girls' shirts, but I think the XXL will go all the way down to my legs on the bottom, the XL nearly did

it sounds like it is a good fit
and if your 5 6 wearing a xl and it is tight, you must be a tree trunk or something

I looked at the UA website, and I think that I am on the high side of XL or low side of XXL interms of my chest, I dunno what the exact measurement is but about 3 years and 50 lbs ago I had a 45 inch chest relaxed.
