How many of you wear eye black when playing? Also do you just make stripes or designs?

i blob it on under my eyes and just smear it down like brett hughes does. that combined with wearing my helmet real low on my eyes and having the hair hang out the back makes attackmen think twice.

Does anyone know where to find the eyeblack that is like a bandaid? It has the school name or mascot written on it. Sometimes lacrosse players wear it (I think UVA's men's teams did in last years champs) and a lot of times you'll see football players wear it.

this year im gonna go legion of doom style. I think most of you will know what that looks like. If not uhhhhh then find a picture of the legion of doom, old wrestlers form the 80's-90's.

summer- ask your coach about it, he can order a team set for you guys with your numbers on it. that's what i had for my travel team. we each got a set of 20, and they put your jersey number on it in your school colors. its pretty good, beucase it stays on, unless you pick at it alot, and it doesn't smear around like eye black does.

I really don't see the point, a lacrosse helmet already has a brim to block the sun. Plus, eyeblack has always made me mess with my face too much.

Thanks Smitt but I'm hoping to find ones you can customize, though I'll keep those in mind.

Ellen...do you know if you can ask your coach where she/he ordered it from? I'm not sure my coach would know and I'm also wondering for personal use (ie: a bunch of one design). Thanks!

Yeah Im with the new guy (BigTony) i focus more on actually playing instead of messin with my eyes. I know intimidation is important, but i dont think its good to go overboard. Frankly i think that guys with the gobs of eyeliner are making up for lack of ACTUAL skill. Often times im VERY wrong

summer - my coach got them from cassels sports and awards. its this store around where i live that does t-shirts and team appearal and sells stuff from different high schools. check a store that does a lot of custom stuff, like that does maybe team wear stuff for soccer... football... all sports. i don't think you can personally design them, cuz coach said that she could only get ones with numbers on it. but maybe if you find a store around where you live, you couold always talk to them

funny thing about eye black and my team. don't give it to us. our defense all of us had the lax mulltes the bad *** stubble. but then our eye black, smiley faces. we are bad ***.

I like the old Powell look that looked like smear triangle at the pointed down

I use dried blood from a yak. It reflects the sun well and is good for my complexion. I don't smear it in a triangle though, thats just stupid.
