MIL heads, shafts, and the like, are all high-quality, durable products. And being priced so low, you can't go wrong with any head or shaft you purchase from them. Most players from Canada swear by Mohawk as the best brand out there.

I used a mohawk stick before, it was amazing. Even though it wasn't light it was durable. I miss that stick.

Shaft are great - hold up like the old issue fat boy. I have never seen one bend or break in box - so I think they would hold up easy for box - they are very heavy though.
The Mohawk Mach 1 heads are great for box however they tend to be brittle around the sidewall holes as most stiff heads tend to be - bbut they have warranty and are reasonable as far as price to start out with.

I had a MIL thunder, it was all around pretty good but the scoop sucked although it wasn't that bad for indian pick-ups. I thought it was durable until mine snapped right in two at the neck just from catching a hard pass. But i guess thats the default of having such long necks on pretty much all MIL heads

Can't be that bad of a shaft I saw your ad saying your willing to trade for one - if it sucked why would you want another one

but are the shafts field legal

all shafts are field legal, you just need to make sure that the total length of head and shaft is between 40"-42". I think they come 32", so you may need to cut it down depending on the head you use

Good equipment. I did break someones Mohawk ti with my harrow monster. that was a good day. First time anyone saw it happen too. I like them especially for the price but I much prefer harrows.
