well today was a big day for me i saw my first shaft break ever. My team mate lost the ball and was lazy and didn't run but the Dence though he was scooping so he hit the but end of the stick into the black top(cause our fields aren't ready yet) snapped the warrior kryptolyte RIGHT in half!!!!. The D guy only had a f15 but i was amazed it just snapped perfectly clean sucks for that guy though cause he doesn't have another stick. But anyways just thought i'd share this huge occasion

yea its pretty cool to see em break, but even cooler when it happens to a d stick.


Also the other day after practice this kid was bragging about his stick and how coach said it wouldn't break for awhile so he was letting everyone like hit things with it, and it got this huge dent/bend in it so he decided to try and bend it the other way, and the thing broke right in half but this was an attack stick.

yeah, krpypto's snap when they break. I saw one break at camp by a teammate, who got it caught between 2 kids, and one in our second to las game where one of our d men put his stick in front of the kid, and kinda shoved it into the ground, and the kid ran into it and snapped it right in half.

Talking about breaking a D pole. I was playing in a summer tournament 2 yeaars ago. I had just came in from the box as a long stick middie and caught up to the guy. We were right in the middle of the field between the restraining box line and midfield. I pushed him the the right and let him get a step on me. I pulledf a rusty gate and as it went across his shaft, it snapped in half clean and went flying over near the restraining box line. Very aweomse but a sad way to see a F15 powergrip go :wtf

During a tournament recently, this d guy was going for a scoop, but the stick got caught, and the butt hit him in the stomach. It lifted him up so he was balanced on the titanium shaft for about a second, then it bent pretty bad. It was one of the most awesome things that I have ever seen.

At lax camp over the summer one of the councilors (sp?), Scott Falatach from UNC took a shot on the goalie. It landed right in the pocket, but the shaft snapped right in two. It was sweet.

I've never seen a shaft break, but it sounds like it takes a mighty good check, or heavy person to break one, especially the F-15s or kryptos. I woudn't be surprised if it was aluminum, though.

i don't know how i did it, but i snapped my friends shaft with a check when i slid both my hands to the top andslapped him with the butt end, someone tell me what its called

i like seein them break...hasnt happened to me though. I know a kid who broke his shaft by using the shatf as a baseball bat and hittin a lax ball and it broke! I was kinda of amazed considering he just hit a ball with his shaft (it was a C405 proflex too). It was cold out and he ahd the shaft for a long time so i guess thats what weakened it.

yesterday in my scrimmage we had 2 shafts break, one kid on the other team broke it over our sophmore attackmans leg, and the our lsm shattered his titan pro with a check. Cold weather i guess.

the only d shaft u have seen break was a good one. One of our D men is a little slap happy and likes to whack players with his stick a lot. well in a game he was playn he just started whacking this kid. I was at the top of the box running down, and i just hear this thud and see the top half of his stick go flying like 10 feet in the air. And he keeps riding htis kid, with this jagged edge of a stick. as soon as he realizes it he runs over a picks his stick out of the ground, which amazing landed in the ground, with the head up. and starts to play d on the kid with a short stick. I still don't know what he broke it on, being the kids boyd, helmet or shaft.

also i saw a triax break from just a normal pass. The kid caught it and the head and half the attack shaft just kept going. But it was dented pretty bad

my old head snapped in half a couple days ago....
