I've had a used pair of the Brine Avalanche for 2 years (I got them as a beginning player) and they have had their use and I am ready for a higher level pair of gloves. I'm 80% sure that I will buy the Gait Insanities but I just wanted some different views on gloves.

I personally love warrior superfreaks and brine defts. If I were to chose one of those to get for free, I'd choose the superfreaks. They have awesome flexibility and they're very light.

If you are going gait get the new chaos. Otherwise I'd go superfreaks. It depends what you want though. (Use the Search bar) superfreaks have a tighter feel and grippier grip whereas gladiators for example are looser and have a softer grip.

get the brine defts over insanities. Over the summer I was saving money for insanities. Then at camp I used them a little and lost interest in them. Finally I traded for brine defts which are just superb. Considering the prices are very close, I'd get the defts.

uhh, i have defts and superstar 2's and SS IIs are the same glove as mac daddies or superfreaks for cheaper b/c of the design and different exterior, and my defts are awesome

Get the G Forces....they are so nice. But if you wanna go a little lower i would get defts cause although ive never used them, they are highly regarded on TLF.

If your looking for a pair of gloves that will last you awhile, get the Defts or the G-Forces. If your looking for gloves that will be good for a season or two and than fall apart, go anything Warrior. They're great gloves for the season, but for a cheaper price, you can get a better glove in my opinion (Defts or G-force) that will last you a longer time.

My friend got the Insanities for free (his Dad is Assistant coach for UVa Men's Lacrosse) and I tried them on and thought that they were incredible, but now since most of you are recommending the Defts I am going to look into them as well. I'm not looking Warrior because I don't like the shiny material on most of their higher end gloves.

Go with the I-Pros if you want a tight-fitting glove.

I don't think that this thread will be headed into the whole argument thing considering I just bought the I-pro's. I wanted different people's views on gloves, and I did use the search feature, but I found mostly reviews.

How flexible are Defts? Anyone know of a really flexible glove for around $100?

I tried on the mercury prostar's, and they were around the $100 range, and were very flexible. The reason I chose the I-pro's over the prostar's was that the 13" prostar's were too big while the 12" were too small, but the 13" I-pro's fit snug.

Be careful with the insanities. From what Ive heard they dont offer the best protection. I would suggest supercrosses or superstar 2s.
