I've been playing for two months now. Such a long time. My team's first game was a couple days ago. I was last string. What string were you guys on your first game?

I've only played 3 scrimmages on my team, but I started in all of them (I play D and in our first scrim we only had 3 d guys, and then the next 2 we still only had 5), but of course, a scrimmage is different than a game, because they will put in everyone to see what they have got. Also our team really doesn't have a last string we have lines that we put in and it depends on which lines the coach wants to put in first which follow that, etc...

i was last line as well...although i started in my second game, despite showing about zero signs of talent. kind of odd.

like fourth line middie which was dead last. I was a freshman playing varsity though so that was pleasant.

Probably 3rd or 4th. I was a freshman on a varsity team, so I didn't play very often. But it got better as the year went in.

but it was still fun and i really didn't even deserve that much playin time

i was first for 2 reasons, 1 I was going to start at middie because my team was mostly new guys, and 2 because i was our replacement goalie. But if you have been playing for 2 months its not bad if your on third

I started playing early in middle school, so we didn't really have lines. We kind of just subbed on the fly the entire game. Lots of fun, but yea I wasn't on a line..

Whan I first started, I joined a team that had been playing together already and only knew 2 other kids so I was quite and out of the way, and the coach picked the kids who were loud and begged to go in, so I played maybe 3rd or 4th. Than I quit for a year. Than in 7th I started up with kids in my school that I knew, and was better than simply because i had been playing longer, so I started.

i think i started my first game. but we were all brand new. none of us had played before and we had been practicing for 5 days and our 1st game was against the best team in the league, ya that wasn't fun
