I just got a new proton (not power) and have been trying to get a deep middle pocket on it. I think i'v tried everything and its a mess. If some people could post some some pics of their strung protons or if anyone has any ideas i'd appreciate it.

have you tried skipping a diamond where you want your pocket? I probably worded that wrong..

Try doubleing(sp) up on the diamonds where you want the pocket to be, read this tutorial to get a better idea http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=22944
did u do he ball and butter knife trick, if it doesnt work do it with water.

because the proton is a wide head, try double sidewalls to get a deeper pocket. Orange has a good tutorial on it in the tutorials sticky.

try doubling up the diamonds where u want the pocket then pound the pocket where u wnat it without a bottom string on the stick until u get it the way that u want it, then put the bottom string on

heres picks of my proton, don't know if thats gunna help at all, and i know gay colored mesh but i bought the mesh and the head for 20 dollars so w/e. my advice would be as ur doing the side walls go really tight at the top and bottom and towards the middle leave it a little loose not too much more then the tops and bottom
