is there a vale tudo style fighting in the olympic games? (For those who don't know, it's almost exactly what the UFC fighters do) I read somewhere that they did have it as a part of the games in the times of the Ancient Greeks. if they don't have it now, i personally think they should because i mean, of all the fight sports, UFC is the best to watch, these guys have to be all-around in good condition and skilled in boxing, wrestling, judo, etc...., and a good number of the guys who fight are not american. they come from other countries like canada, brazil, etc....Anyways, just thought i'd put this out there

They use to fight to the death in the ancient olympics. Right now I think they only have greco-roman wrestling and maybe boxing.

yea they fought to death, but obviously they got rules in things like the UFC...u know, TKO's, tap outs, no kicks to the head when on the ground, no biting (lol), etc...
