yeah so i do not have a very fun looking car but i want to make it look pretty sweet, what do you guys think would look best on it, it is a 1996 nissan altima, this is the stock picture of what it looks like, same color and all.

If you want a rice burner: put body kit on through a pro, get air foil and CF hood. Then get a new fade paintjob with a cheesy vinayl (SP?). Also put large chrome rims on it.

If you want a real car: do a complete performance package, get performance rims and leave everything else stock. Stock looks cool on really fast cars. Maybe you could do a paint job too.

that is actually not a bad idea. You might want to try ebay motors for a new car, and even the parts if you decide to fix this one up

Orrrr u could save your money.... and buy a nice car lol. Its most likely automatic so why bother with performance. U cant beat any car with that thing so dont bother with the intake and crap. Only thing id do is tint the windows and throw some blk rims on the POS

yeah so to answer all of your questions it is an automatic. 4cyl. 2.4ltre i think? im gettin two 10" sony xplod subs put in the trunk with a digital amp, i already have to 6inch pioneer 3 way speakers in the back and im getting a new pioneer head unit. i have a few hundred to put into but not enough to sell it and get something newer and plus my insurance is only 800 with it and for living in NJ and being 17 thats about 1/3 of what all my friends pay so sticking with this car is gonna have to work. what do u think of this thing, does it look like it will be worthy... www.turbonator.com it is supposedly good enough to add up to 35 horsepower and increase mpg about 31%. Those are proven to do jack. You're better off adding a K&N intake, you'll get much more gain. I'd suggest looking up a good Nissan forum and poking around there. You can learn a lot about cars from car forums, as most of the people who posted in this thread to get rims and a body kit, well, don't even drive.

...What? You can't tell someone to pimp an engine. You could tell them to add an intake, and do certain work on the engine (headers, cams, rockers). But... no.

one easy way to up gas mileage is to just get your fuel injectors cleaned. I just had mine done, after 145000 miles, and i saw a 20% increase in MPG.

Otherwise, intake, headers, bore it out, and get a buddy christ figurine like i have, then you set.

I actually calculated it. Before i was getting about 26.78 MPG, now im at 31.6ish, it really makes a differance, especially after 145000 miles.

lol i dont think u guys have ever even seen a 200sx. They are so ugly and pretty much cheap. The se-r is ooook but even that is slow as crap. If your lookin at nissan step it up to the 240sx... u can do so much more to them as far as engine and body. Even swap in a Sr20 engine. BTW they also came in silvias wich is like the saleen of the mustang but i doubt u got that kinda money.
