if you've got somethin like a 73 in a class right now, w/ about 11 weeks of school to go, is it possible to raise that to a 94?

Oh yeah. I do it all the time. Ask for extra-credit. Do all your work. It can easily be done.

if you plan on not going on TLF and not hanging it with your friends for 11 weeks maybe

If you work your butt off, it might be possible. You'll need a perfect effort grade, incredible test scores, and a lot of extra credit, but its doable.

Not really. All you have to do is just do all work. And stay after if you need help. What made you think of that ghs?

I had an 83 in math during midterms last marking period and I managed to pull that upto a 95. You have even more time than that, so it is possible.

yeah It's possible. For midquarter grades..i had a D+ in AP comparative politics..and I brought it up to a B+ in say 6 weeks? Senioritis..it kills you. If it weren't to be elegible with a C for lax..I wouldn't do any of my work

11 weeks is a really long time. Of course its possible, just do everything you didn't do to earn a 73.

first quarter i had an 85% in bio. i then proceeded to get a 58% on a test a 68% on another, and a 60% on a small project.

second quarter (first semester) came around, and i was scared for my grade. got my grades back. and i got an 88%. I realized that earlier, i had taken the time to do some major extra credit. bumped up my grade, and saved my butt.

so just work your butt off the rest of the semester, and do all the extra credit you can. worked for me.

I have a B- in math, but that's because I do horrible on tests and quizzes. I'm hoping to bring it up to an A, but I don't hink I did good on my midterms, so it's going to be hard to get done before the end of March.

i brought my french grade up from a 68 to an 85 in 6 weeks. its not too hard to bring your grade up. the homework is usually like freebie points.

well in my school a 90 is an A-, so why not go for just a 90? (unless 94 is an A-, but that would really really suck).

And no, probably not possible unless you get 100s on the rest of every single assignment, a High 80 or maybe like a 90 is possible though.

give up AIM. I did it recently, and I'm already seeing huge improvements in my work.

Guys, instead of "sure you can do anything bla blablalba", let's look at the real statistical probabilities here. Actually, it may be impossible.

Are we talking about a 73% average for this school year? If so, that is mathematically impossible. If you have a 100 average for the rest of the year, your best shot would be to have a B.

Also, if you're a highschooler (which I assume you are), then I doubt most teachers give out a lot of extra credit. And if they do, that's pretty cheap and unfair. If any highschool teacher gives out enough extra credit that it has a significant effect on your grade (as in not a few points), then that is really lame. Your grade is out of a 100% average, not 130%.

Are we talking about for the semester? Then, you have an outside shot...extremely slim. You would need to get close to a 100% average to get even close to a 94. If this is your situation, how many weeks have you been for your semester

Or, are we talking about for the term? If so, then you have an extremely good chance, since I doubt you've had more than a week or two into the term.

Long post short: We do not have any information to answer the original poster's questoin.
