Bowling Ball

So I just conditioned my new goalie pocket and threw a bowling ball in it.. any1 tried this... if so how was the pocket?

I doubt its like pounding to us. It seems as if it will work, as long as you give some support to your head. Meaning, don't let the shaft hold all of the weight.

its better if you use a bowling ball to stretch and make a pocket in the mesh before you pocket in....if you place the mess flat on the ground and bowling ball on top of that, then pull the mesh up and around the b ball, with you foot on the ball...

i did that and it stretched out a lot quicker than any other method.

if you want to use the b ball trick later when the stick is strung, thats fine just make sure you brace the head so there is no pressure on the sidewalls, for they could possibly break or warp.. try two tables or chairs/boards pushed together with the b ball in between.

if you dont understand any of this just tell me and ill draw it somehow :-)

Thats exactly what he did...He DID NOT use it for break in!

It works lol.... ill get picts up tonight. The head or shaft did not bend. I did it on my sentinal and nemisis. It really worked. What i did was i put the stick so it was intbetween my desk and chair. So the stick ws held up at the thorat and top. Confusing ll get picts

I proped my goalie stick between to chairs, and placed a bowling ball in the wet pocket over night. It gave it a really round pocket. Honestly, I made a better pocket by just pounding it really hard.
