Tell me what you think. I tried out the GIANT mesh pocket tutorial ready-to-go with mesh I didnt even break in besides pulling it a little. Tell me what you think.

Im gonna but I want to let it set in naturally too. I don't need it at this very moment so I'm gonna catch with it to break it in. Give it a natural pocket. PLUS, it fits two balls in right now, both illegal.

Pretty good. I'd tighten up those sidewalls a little bit, and not to be picky, but you forgot to twist you shooting string through one of the diamonds (I'm a perfectionist).

looks good. tighten up those sidewalls. you're going to have to once it breaks in and it become illegal. But you could do that afterwards. Your preference.

good job n when u fix that nylon maybe loosen it a little cuz it looks like it will cause a lot of whip after break in, but otherwise really good job i like it a lot

when you were putting it in, what did you do to get the full pocket? when ever i try to make them they stay too bunched towards the throat.

Thank you for the feedback. And Laxin smith, have you checked the Sticky for the GIANT pocket tutorial? You just double the sidewall holes, two holes each time. The only thing I changed was by the throat I switched back to one hole so it wouldn't bunch up like you said yours do.

That thing is huge. You might want to shrink it down before it becomes illegal.

The BAD news:
I broke it in practice with a wrap check.
haha, that was a short lived head. It lasted 10 minutes

Tighten the bottom string a bit, or move it up a row or 2. Its illegal...(as you pointed out)

It was actually warm out today. Not cold enough for it to break because of that, we were in tshirts today. and i want it a little illegal, I am redoing it on another stick, ill show when im done

Looks perfect to me. I've never been able to make pockets that deep. I'm always jealous when I see pockets like this on TLF.

You could do it but the holes would line up alot differently.

Yeah Butt Touch I wouldn't reccommend doing this with 5D unless it's a head with like 3 sidewall holes, which isn't the case for you since you use an H2 and Razer.

thanks, the pocket on my razer has formed quite nicely, but the H2 is a little low and shallow, Suggestions?

I just restrung a new head. Not the same pocket because it works best with hard mesh for me but it is still very nice.

On a side note, some will comment the sidewalls are a little loose. That is as TIGHT as they get, I can not tighten them anymore. I used two pairs of pliars(sp?) and it couldn't get any tighter.

Well my parents visited me this weekend and brought all 7 of my heads up to college for me. Got bored Saturday night after the Roanoke/St Marys game so I strung this one up too.

its my trick stick so I don't feel like adjusting it. It throws on a frozen rope and i can pick corners with it now and get it about 1/2 the time to ping pipe. Don't touch whats not broken, especially when you don't need to use it in a game. haha

Dude, my Giant Mesh pocket was massive and it was still good. After I tightened the sidewalls it made no difference.

I have been stringing for about... 8 years now, but only mesh. I change it up sometimes with different variations but oh well. And for the record, only the first one is a Giant Mesh pocket. The other two I just did, but I'm not going to spam the boards with my different heads when I can put it in one folder.

P.S. - People, give me some ideas for some custom pocket ideas to try. I want an original Idea and I'm gonna try and do it so lets get started. I'll take the best option given if someone thinks of one.
