Senior fee's

I know that when your a senior, you have to pay for everything. App fee's, transcripts fee's, you gotta make sure you've taken your ACT and/or your SAT's and that's like 40 bucks each test. So the total estimate of all that is almost 100 bucks. Well since it's almost the end of the year, our counsler was checking up on us and I was talking to her about the above and now I'm waviered from pretty much all of it. I think the only thing I have to pay for is my transcripts, but I don't think I even have to pay those. Has anyone else heard of their schools doing this? I didn't even know that something like that could be done. I'm impressed with my school and I'm even happier that I don't have to worry anymore about that.

No, I just took the hit. I mean, you have to get those things, so there's no sense whining about having to pay. Artists face a similar dillemma in that art is extremely expensive to produce, and since people don't patronize the arts anymore you know you probably aren't going to sell anything. Artists pay out the nose man...

O I'm not trying to whine, I'm just saying that it's really expensive when you don't have the money it's hard. I'm counting myself lucky that I'm able to get my fee's waviered, don't get me wrong, I'm just happy I don't have to worry so much about it anymore. I was freakin out before 'cause of the deadlines for the ACT's and such.

mailing SATS - $7 per school
ACTS - $36 or somehting like that
Class Dues - $55 if you pay on time, $80 if you pay late like me
Yearbook - $70
Prom - $70 per ticket
College Application fees - $75 total for 3 schools I applied to because one was free
Mailing everything about - $3

Man all this is so unbelievibly expensive, I knew I'd have to pay out the nose this year, but it's ridiculus. We have to pay the school to be a senior and all that other stuff that you gotta pay for. It's hard to pay for it all, especially with my school when everything needs to be paid for all at generally the same time. You can't always afford that when the time comes, and if your late paying for something, you always gotta pay a late fee and it just comes so fast...
