I am relatively new to lacrosse and last year I playe dgoalie. I bought a KryptoPro but this year I have switched to attack. I want to cut this stick down to a short pole length so I can get another game stick.

Is this something I can do myself? If it is is it easy or a little difficult?

Thanks.

Just measure the amount before hand, and take a hacksaw to it

...because we all measure using the metric system. :whyme:

I wasn't sure if you did that yourself or if it was normal to have someone do it for you.

One more question. Do i cut the top or bottom?

Thanks alot.

IF you are really worried take it to hardware store and have them do it for you.

Yeah, a goalie shaft is 40" standard, I would cut 9" off of it, leaving 31". Just make sure to follow the advice-
measure twice, cut once, and do it fairly professionally so it looks good. Put some tape over the end, and you have a nice shaft.

U know that tool with the teeth? I think its called a ssaaaawwww. Its used to cut crap. Well u take this tool and u cut the shaft where u want it. A metal blade works best (lots of lil teeth) but i have actually cut a shaft with a wood saw when i was desperate

Yea i didn't want to start a new topic but i have had a warrior klyte for a while now and I play attack and whenever im trying to dodge there is always a little sticking out and the defender always seems to wack that part and I lose control of the ball. So should i cut it a little and if so how much?

Probably not, you'd make the overall length of the stick illegal.

try to protect the stick with your body more. No matter how fast your stick work is, if you can't protect it the d man will always have a chance of getting you.
