Why is the Edge so expensive on e-lacrosse.com. It's almost the same price as when I bought it 5 years ago!!

Aye, I totally agree, and now since the Edge isn't their main stick you can't get the for free at camps, fastest shot contests, etc. They must still be selling quite a few of them or otherwise Brine would have cut prices like the did with the Oz (keep the Edge in production though, please :P)

Oh so they still make the original edge? Great news if they do :)

ps....the edge blows...use something better man......and plus those losers took out production on x2 and proton...the best of heads for years!!!!!

why use edge when u have cyber though and matrix or edge warp for dirt cheap...if u like brine?

I thought the EDGE was less expensive. Anyway its a really good head. Its good for pinching and dyeing.

I wish they were dirt cheap!!

maybe cause the edge is better then the cyber
the edge is a great head, and when pinched it is a lot better then most of these new heads

e-lacrosse has terrible prices...

laxdigest has it for $45... not a walk in the park still though. in fact its more expensive than the vapor which is quite a good seller i hear.

i dont recommend getting a really old head like the edge, try somethin newer. ill let the people who know what they are talking about make suggestions!

i have to admit. i have never used an edge until a few weeks ago and i like it. i like the offset of it. and it threw nice. but i do agree that they should have slashed the prices of it. it should be like 10 bux...lol.

ASJT3

That would be nice :)

I think a pinched Edge is still the best head in the market, there haven't been any innovations since then significant enough to make me look elsewhere, and the competitors break more easily. I'm not a big fan of the Brine litigation but STX tried the exact same thing on Brine, just Brine happened to win so now they're the goat. I'm not sure why the Cyber is so popular, it's a wider Bionic, if you pinch it they are very similar (although the Cyber may be stronger even after-pinch compared to the keyhole STX one). They both have the down at the throat and then level off in the second half style of offset. It's serviceable, I'd use it if I got one for free (or prob trade for an Edge and cash :P) but not anything significantly better than other stuff on the market. I'm sure to draw a lot of "CYBER RULES EDGE IS OLD TECHNOLOGY" heat for this, but oh well.

look, the cyber is excellent. i'm on my third. the edge is also excellent, because despite being 10 years of age, it still is right up there with new heads coming out. the cyber is older than the bionic, and they're not at all the same head. sidewalls hardly matter. the cyber is a bare-bones head when it comes to amount of plastic. the bionic is a beastly, super-tough head. plus, cybers pinch themselves over time. you should see my other two. they get narrower the more you play.

Aye, I mentioned that in the 2nd post, but given general sentiment on the internet it doesn't seem like they're selling so many? But it figures that they must be. Good point on the cyber raine, I didn't think about that it used much less plastic/was lighter, and still more durable than the bionic. If you were to sketch the offset pattern they are the same, but there are differing qualities.

What do you mean? The edge is the best!! It was my first head and I still use it, not the same one though.

Edges are pretty sweet, I have one I dont use it alot but when I do it is very reliable. I guess the reason why the haven't cut the price is because, like v-cut said, people will pay it. "If it aint broke, dont fix it."
