Most community colleges with las programs are on the east coast.

you may be able to play at the club level of a local university. I would check to see what the requirements are. also, search the JUCO schools for any teams that participate in your area. unfortunately, the Junior colleges/Community colleges who have lacrosse do tend to be on the east coast.

Yeah. Same thing. It's similar to the concept of janitor and sanitary engineer.

wow, community college. our community college's acronym is CLC, which was fondly named college of last choice. Deffinitely check out club lax, like adult league. Lots of people play in adult leagues. LOL COMMUNITY COLLEGE!!!

Well, he's from Cali. And I think most of the laxers out in Cali are young.
What's wrong with community colleges?

Yeah. I may be in the same boat. Depending on how I do next year (junior year).

the best part about all those people that work super hard in high school, is that people that go to junior college for 2 years save money, AND they get into the same school as long as they try somewhat. community college is supa fly

Actually, alot of community colleges have better teacher/student ratios for the big freshman classes than universities. A very similar atmosphere to high school. Some people complain that it is too much like highschool, but try going to a university and sitting in a lecture hall with 100+ students and getting individual attention from a professor. You most likely won't get a professor but a TA. None of the community colleges I have been to even have TA's, so you always get the attention of the professor that is teaching the class. It depends on what you want. You can still transfer to a 4 year program and get that piece of paper with Elitist University on it.

Dude play for OCJC. Yes the WJCLL is forming, although it only has two teams, Orange County Junior College and Scottsdale in Arizona. To be eligible all you have to do is go to any community college in Orange County California. My team played them this year and they definitely have some legitimate talent (I even recognized a few faces from lacrosse camps).

Let's say I went to a JUCO for a year and played lacrosse, would that take up a year of eligibility if I wanted to transfer and play at a major program?

yes, because the juco schools are all ncaa d2 programs they all count against your 4 year clock.
EDIT: plus, i think you lose a year of eligibility if you transfer from one ncaa to another.

^^^ Juco schools aren't DII dude. They're JUCO. You can't get a bachelor's degree at them, only an Associate's. Also San Diego is club, way to point that out, but they are a real University, a "daddy bought it, I got" BMW university, but a university nonetheless.
Junior colleges are community colleges and city colleges. Also since they are Junior colleges you dont lose a year of eligibility as a penalty for transferring.

juco schools do take a year out of ncaa eligibility. i played 2 years at the juco level and i have 2 years left of ncaa eligibility.
