The poll for the DIII men's side is out...and whoever has a ballot there should exchange it for a hockey helmet and get on the short bus, where they belong.

How come everyone else can see just how good RIT is but IL's voters? Ignoring this team is sheer ignorance. But, thats OK, keep disrespecting them...makes for plenty of opportunity to laugh at the poll every week.

What the hell does this team have to do to get some respect? They knocked off Stevens to open the season, they were in the top 20 of most other polls prior to that, and they can't even get into the poll on your site? And we are supposed to take it seriously?

This team is damn good, and they will suprise those who choose to ignore them...ask Naz, ask Stevens, ask Geneseo, who they have beat like a drum in the ECAC finals last season (but whom through the wisdom :bartmoon: of your voters is found in the poll).

Just a total joke.

My brother played for RIT last year, and they are definatly a very good team this year. It doesnt matter what the polls say though, it matters who wins and who loses. RIT will prove to everyone that they are a top team this year no matter what the polls say. Its better this way anyways, now they have something to prove to everyone and they will get more recognition for their accomplishments than a team that IS ranked a top team.

What kind of poll is this, like top 10 or top 20 or what? If so, I agree that they should definitely be in. Lax.com has them ranked at 10 spot this year. However, I think it's a tough call to move them up past that. A 9-7 record last year? Thats decent, and they did knock off a few good teams like Nazareth, geneseo, etc. But, they also lost to Union, Hartwick, E Conn... If they had been a consistant team, I totally agree they should be ranked higher. Its early in the season though, they'll move up.
