Just got my ZebraWear timer from the mail. It's much smaller than the previous (officialscorner) timer and has a clip so you don't need a belt to wear it.

As you guys know it has the two settings, 20/100, I'm not so sure how I like this feature yet. The "beep" is a very loud shrill.

That's pretty much all I have for a review for now, I'll let you know how it works "in the field" so to speak when I work some scrimmages in the next week or so.

I also bought a ZebraWear timer and I like it. I do like the 100 second mode and it's small size, although I do have one problem with it. Because the switch is three-way, resetting the timer takes a little bit of effort.

I used the new timer last weekend. Near the beginnig of the game, I found myself wondering where this annoying backgound noise was coming from, thinking that someone in the area was really producing a racket. I then realized it was coming from me. The need for the timer had passed, as the ball had already been cleared. The fact was that the sound was different than what I was used to with the old timer, and since the flow of the game was not expecting the timer to go off, my slow mind was unable to put two and two together. It took me a little time to get used to having a new sound....your mileage may vary.....

I hear the new timer that Honig's advertised in their spring catalog but said wouldn't be ready until May is now available. A guy here has one ordered. I'll report back when I see it.

Used the new timer for the last two weeks. I am getting used to it, but i do end up messing with it a little more than usual to make sure the switch is in the center position. I went to use it on wens. and the switch was activated in my equipment bag. Battery was dead so i pulled out the old backup. Stopped today and picked up a couple of spares. The only complaint is the odd battery size. Not a big issue though.

I like it but I wish the toggle switch was a little bigger like the older model.

After using this I have one complaint, it is difficult to set the timer to "off" after you have it on the 20 second count when you are running around. Other than that I am a happy camper.

That is the exact reason I haven't bought one yet. Well, that and the fact that my two originals from Official's Corner still work just fine.

I understand Honig's now has theirs in stock. Basically the same as the new version but not as expensive?
