Alright for some of us the season starts today, a few have already started their season. Do you guys rough them up a bit and give your freshmen a special "welcome" to high school lacrosse? What the most harsh thing you've heard done to freshmen?

i dont really look to anything different, but they tend to set them selves up to get smoked alot of the time

It's not too bad this year (my freshman year), but that's because we only have 7 seniors. Last year, there were about 15 seniors, so it was living hell for underclassman in general. Someone got locked in the bathroom. THey handcuffed a guy to something for two hours, and the rest probably isn't appropriate for TLF.

THis year we get teased a little and have to set up the goals, but that's it.

nothing bad. they usually had to carry out all the supplies and crap.

this really makes me look forward to nextyear. it sucks going from oldest kid in school to youngest.

Haha our freshman got it yesterday. Someone got t-boned and they fell all the way down the hill. We started to see who thought they were hot stuff so there will be a couple gut checks today at practice.

Lol, I got nothing this year, being the best goalie at the school most of them wouldn't mess with me. A couple kids tried to make me carry stuff for em, but I started this whole thing which embarrased em. Then at practice a kid tried to plow me over, but I held my position, he hit me then fell...It was a good day...

I have to admit I do like to bully them a bit, But I don't give them a hard time for long, I get along with EVERYONE and it's hard for me to be mean to people.

i was always nice to freshman unless one thought he was the best kid out there and came up all cocky. Then i would throw some nice crisp passes at them, watch it bounce right out of stickcause of their pus*sy freshman muscles and yell catch that...that pass was perfect.

its all about coxygen, you get your cup and put it so that it fits like one of those oxygen tank things over their mouth and nose. ****+oxygen=coxygen

Freshman put up with so much crap, always draggin the cage
all over the field. i am a freshman, but i take orders from the seniors only.
some retard sophomore middie tried to tell me what to do, i layed his *** out!

Watch the language, not to backseat mod or anything, but c'mon. Last year year I was a freshman, we got made fun of, and stuff like that, but there weren't any seniors, so overall we were all fairly close. Also I was the third biggest kid, that may have helped.

My team needs to whip our freshmen into shape. We have too many of them, and they have quickly gotten way to comfortable. A few of them are arrogant as well, for the way they play. Any advice?

next year when im a freshman it wont be too bad cause my bro knows all the guys on the lacrosse team so they wouldn't do too much to me

I've hard it called "jockygen," but same idea. Man, it happens to frosh every year. Also making them run around the field w/nothing but their comp shorts and cups on.

Why are you guys so harsh with your Freshmen? give em a break.. and the 'cookie game' is effin nasty. Yeah there the youngest.. but that shouldn't matter. Where i'm from.. the Freshmen don't get messed with.. because we respect them just as much as we respect our seniors.

Simple. Because messing with them is fun. They will earn there respect eventually, besides in a smaller school like mine, you know everyone so it's all in good fun. People like you are like freshmen rights activists and try to get on people for messing with the 9th graders but we all dealt with it our first year.

I am a freshman right now I really don't have get messed with too much anyway. I just go along mind my business and play. I try not to put myself in the middle of everything. The kids that try get attention when they don't deserve it as a freshman should get laid out.

Where i'm comming from is the mean stuff people will get them to do.. Like the "Cookie Game" or something. It's cool to mess around with them if it's in a joking matter, or ask them to help out.. but I honestly don't think people should hate on the freshmen. But if their the type that think their top ****, then they should get treated like hell.
