I'm planning on going to it... don't know much about it. What other defense-only camps are there out there?

i went to it. its VERY intense. you learn alot but also pushed to your limits. its not HS attackmen that you're playing, its div 1 college attackmen.
its very educational though, great camp. and i believe stagnita runs it, or co runs it. he's great.

its run by the current w & l coach, mike cerino, great coach great camp, stag co runs it. will teach you many things that will make you a better defenseman and yes you play against college attackmen, most of which are the top players at their level, d1 d2 d3. actually cerino is the one that started the roanoke defensive camp which he ran while he was the coach at limestone, he moved it to w & l when he went there and roanoke started another one. but all in all a great camp that i recommend to any defender that wants to play at the next level.

I'm going to W&L's non-position specific lacrosse camp. Hope it's just as good as the d-camp!

I'm very interested in going to this. So you play against Div. 1 college attackmen?

im not sure if anything has changed in the last 5 years, but the two times that i went to the camp they had multiple attackmen from limestone, roanoke and w&l there. not so many d1 guys, i think there might have been one or 2 not sure. overall though great experience as they would tape sessions and the coaches would go over it with you ike you would breakdown a game tape. then of course the great experience of playing a lacrosse game 10 long poles vs. 10 long poles... makes for some intersting offense.
