What do you guys think of taking supplements before practice. I have been taking creatine 30 minutes before every practice. It has helped out with my energy and endurance for a good amount of time. After practices i take a protein shake. What do you guys think?

I think creatine should be taken during preseason while you are training, but not during season. Protein shakes are good though. Also, if you are going to take creatine, do it an hour before practice. Don't forget to drink LOTS of water. Also, this should be posted in the tactics/training section.

As long as your not breaking any NHFS/NCAA rules id say its fine

creatine can make you cramp up, so watch out for that. i agree with the guy that said an hour before practice...you want to give your stomach some time to settle. go to bodybuilding.com they have guides that say what supplements you should take for specific sports. they don't have lacrosse but maybe soccer or basketball would be good ones to look at.
