Alright, I am almost positive that I am going to get a CPX after searching and reading a review on laxnation. I really like the sound of it.
-If I decide to spend the extra money and get the titanium is their anyway I can get the facemask to come in black or does the titanium only come in silver/chrome? My coach is okay with everyone buying their own equipment as long as it is identical so I think he wants everyone to have a black facemask.
-Is the titanium really that much lighter and is it really worth it? Is it a immediate noticeable difference compared to the normal CPX? When I say immediate I mean, if I put on a normal CPX then put on a titanium will I go wow, that is lighter!
-The helmet always comes with the adjustable inserts and chinstrap? (I know, stupid question, just wanna make sure)
-Once that inserts/pads are in can I tske them out? And do the pads really "form" to your head kinda like a shoe according to laxnation's review?

The titanium comes only in the silver facemask, its lighter but the regular CPX is still very light, it will most defintalely have a chinstrap, and it most definately shold have the adjustable inserts.
You can take them out, theyre held on with velcro, and the helmet does break in..

That's the best I can answer your questions from my limited experience with a CPX Ti.. maybe someone can help us out

It comes ingold too, i dont think your coach would mind, ebing titanium is dull colored. my coach hates chromanium, but doesnt mind titanium, so no biggy. The pads do form, and are removable, comes with a cascade chin strap for your needs.

The weight difference is noticible when simply holding a regular CPX and titanium. I don't know how different it feels when the two are on your head. Also, people claim that it is easier to see with a silver/ti facemask rather than a black one.

Mask comes in silver/chrome or the gold tinted color.

I would love to get the titanium one. I guess I will wait one more day and ask my coach if it's alright my facemask is a silver/chrome color. Any more opinions out there on anyone who has, had, or tried a CPX Titanium or not!?!?!

theres no difference between the cromanium and titanium and black face mask besides the color and the way the face mask is designed. if i were you, i wouldnt get the titanium unless its given to you for free. i have a cpx with a black face mask and ive tried a titanium. there is no noticable difference at all.
