HAhahaha, I'm so glad somebody commented on this picture. I was looking through the album earlier, and saw this one. I have no idea whether he caught the shot, looks like he just stuffed it. I think the facial expressions captured on all of the players are really funny...

no it's just the angle of the pic... Walters is shooting to the left..the ball just happens to look like its in the dman's head

You can see that there is no shadow on the ball. It's not in the D-man's head, at least in that picture.

No I think he just nocked it down, because in the next couple pictures, Joe Walters is going for a ground ball in the same spot so I don't think he caught it. And did anyone see the pictures of Matt Danowski's new blue dyed Answer, it has like 5 shooters, but there are like 3 and then he skips a line of mesh and then there are 2 shooters...it looks weird to me. Plus did anyone notice that their are more dyed heads this year? Like Matt Danowski and Zach Greer and some guys on Princeton and Peyser of JHU, I dont know maybe its just me...

Greer had the blue dyed Triton. Brett Bucktooth from Cuse uses an orange Swerve as well.

He knocked the ball down. If you look at the couple of images following that picture, you can see the lady in the red with the uggs on walking, and shes only moved about 4 feet all together.

I believe you are right. It looks like the pictures go in order for that whole little play, so he probably just knocked it down.

understand that in the those pictures they are full speed on the run and they are cradling hard.... if u got dino,walters or greers stick in ur hands and put a ball in it its not gonna look very if at all illegal

ok.. the pocket is not illegal.. put a ball in your pocket.. hold it against the mesh, then turn it to the angle the head in the picture is.. you'll see that it "looks illegal" but it isn't at all

our defensive captain has been known on several occasions to catch shots mid-air...i'm pretty sure they've all been accidental, but it's still sweet as hell
1. Mesh stretches when someone cradles especially when well broken in. As for Joe Walters, he has hockey lace as his bottom string which makes it stretch a lot. Maybe some of these other guys do as well i just cant tell. http://www.lax.com/bimages/1530/24

Yea i noticed the dyed heads ot i said it in another thread too. Its strange i was thinking about it and i think it might just be that they break the died ones throughout the season and dont re-dye it so u dont get to see it later in the seasons. Also yes ur right i think he knocked it down, becaues of the next pictures, and somehow Walters gets it back and gets a shot thats even mroe amazing.
