Is this possible? Are reflexes just a natural ability or is it something that can be worked on. I want to know for faceoffs, i know that theres more to it than just the jump, but i want to know if working on doing a move on a whistle will make you faster or if its just something you got or dont got.

anything that improves hand-eye coordination will also help your reflexes. Try wallball.

Try using a reaction ball http://www.shapeupshop.com/athletic_equipment/balls/reaction_balls.htm

Our goalie uses them for hand eye coordination so it might not help you directly on faceoffs but will help your overall reaction time.
And no, you cant improve your reflexles, your reflexes are involentary, you can improve your reaction time though. Reflexes and reaction time are often mixed up, a goalie uses his reaction time, not his reflexes to save the ball.

I don't know if that is neccesarily true. I believe the military often trains people hardcore to react faster and in certain manners. Of course the "you don't even think, you just react" has been played out like crazy in the movies...but I don't think it's without factual basis.

I played Halo 2 a lot and it seems to have improved for me. Yesterday I got a pass between my legs and I'm a level 17 in team snipers. Lol. Thank you Halo.

Yes that's it!! Every time your parents tell you to "Get of that stupied Xbox"
tell them that your improving your reaction time so you have a better chance of getting a collage scholarship.

jump rope, it helps with a lot of things, also throwing a pinkie against a wall at close distance, and try to have the ball in your hands as least time as possible.
