Ok yesterday, one of my teammates shot on goal and the keeper stopped it. The defense was man down so I went to the crease to pester the goalie's outlet pass. On his pass the keep proceeded to hit me directly on the helmet. To emphasize, he hit me and my stick didn't touch the goalie. Of coarse the pass was terrible, it landed about three feet behind me, I picked it up and scored on a pretty mad keep. He wanted a goalie interferance call but the ref said no. Was that a blown call or was the ref right?

The GK is lucky he didn't get called for a slash. Actually, he would have been better off if he had, since then the whistle would have blown and you wouldn't have gotten a chance to score!

Without seeing the video, it may be that the goalie was just trying to make a normal pass, and the attackman was so close that his head was in the way, in which case he should have gottent he interference call. IMM, the onus is on the attackman to make sure he is out of the way of the passing motion. If it was an obvious attempt to just smack the guy for harassment, then a slash call may be merited.

I had a similar situation and wonder if I made a bad call. Keeper got the ball in the crease; A was in front of him -- I don't remember how far from crease; not very. Keeper started to throw right toward A (keeper's teammate was in direct line with A in between them). A raised stick; keeper checked throwing motion but did not hit anything of A; ball popped out of Keeper's stick (outside crease) and A picked it up. I killed the play and called interference. My brain remembered an AR (or something) about GK being entitled to unimpeded throw. But I looked at home after game and I can't find it, and what I see in the rule AR refers to hitting A or A's stick. A's coach said so at the time. Was this just a bad decision by GK? Did I blow the call?

I think it's the wrong call. If the GK wants the interference call, he can't avoid the contact.

I think possibly so - I wouldn't call interference unless the goalie actually contacted the attackman. I think it was his bad for stopping his throw. Goalies should be instructed very early on to take advantage of their protection in the rules, and take their normal pass and follow through.
