Oxford Lacrosse Team

I currently play for the Williams College (Div. III) team and next year I am planning on going abroad to England to study at Oxford (Exeter). I would really like to continue playing there, but I have no concept of the level of play over in the UK.

Does anyone know what the women's varsity team at Oxford is comparable to in the US? Would I have any chance of making the team?

Both are in the south premiership but at oppostie ends of the table....
How much have you played?
Ummm because youd prob def get on the team because ctandard is way lower over here!

Actually I think the womens standard is pretty, high especially at a University like Oxford, where all of the 1st team would have played throughout highschool. That being said, if you are regularly making your current team, there would be no reason why you would not make the Oxford team. As WelshChandler says the Standard in the UK is lower, but its by no-means a walkover.

Men's on the other hand is a completely different story, with huge standard differences in the UK and US
