I just received and completed a Zoomerang survey from US Lacrosse, asking a bunch of nosy questions about HS officiating and something called the Scholastic Officials Committee.
Hmmm, I wonder where that came from?? :bye:

Just finished it. Questions #1 (what year did you start officiating lacrosse) & #4 (how long have you been officiating lacrosse) are the same, aren't they?
Nice survey. I got the feeling it had more to do with local associations than scholastics.

Not exactly. One is going to be used to calculate when people are eligible for MDOC awards, and the other is for informational purposes (without having to do a bunch of calculations based on start date). The other thing is that the year you started may not give precise info on how many years you've officiated if you took any time off.

I had specific requests to piggyback some LOA questions onto the survey.
Thanks for participating, guys!

It seems like this is the de facto message forum for officials. I do not see any point in USL developing a separate site for an official's message board. I suggest just directing all USL officials to this site. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
