Is it generally frowned upon or accepted to train during the season? I don't do it because I just can't find the time between 3 hour practices every day and homework. So I probably lose quite a bit of strength during the season, but I make up for it in the off season.

What do you do?

dont do it, weight training screws with muscle memory, my friend tried to weight train during basket ball season and it messed up his shot bad, i can only assume it would do a similar thing to a lacrosse shot

you supost to lift during the season but not to get stronger just to maintain what you have

lighter wieghts and shorter workouts with less exersizes

it sucks for me. at school i'm in a weight class for my football team, and since its football's offseason... we have to lift hard. so yeah, it sucks sometimes.

I take a weight lifting class at school, so I get to workout 2-3 times a week and I can basically do whatever I want in the weight room, my teacher doesn't care, so I get to get some solid lifting in to keep up my strength during the season. It really works out well.
