whenever i drink water and work out i feel like i am going to vomit. Why is this, since i do not drink a whole lot before exercise? It is especially when i run.

yeah i get that feeling like im gonna gag too ..i think its probably what you said not drinking alot of water b4 exercise

drink water (about 16 oz) 1 hour before practice and then after practice drink gato and other sports drinks this keeps you hydrated and the gato (sprots drink) keeps you electrolytes and blood sugars up

I eat a banana and drink a 20oz of water like a half hour before practice, then a 20 oz. water after practice. I never have any problems with cramps and any vomitting problems.

Make sure you're eating food as well. Filling your belly with water and then doing heavy excercise is a guaranteed puke-fest. You gotta have food in your system.

well, the blood that would normally go to your stomach and intestines to help digest food and water, is pumped to the muscles you use while playing lax..
