Hillsbourough, FL Lacrosse (any teams that takes students from other schools?)

So I go to Robinson and of course, they don't have a lacrosse team or club. I know that Plant has a team so I went there to find out if I could play on there team since they had a hillsbourough county team. Of course they explained it to me that they have only a club team that is exclusive only to students that attend Plant.

I ended up going weightlifting with the football team here and spoke to some rugby player who brought up the whole "you can play lax with another HC school since it's the same school district" of course, as you can tell this didn't work with plant.

So the question is, does anybody in the Tampa area know of a school that has a lax team that allows players from different schools to play on there team?

Any and all help is appreciated as I'm currently not in any spring sports and I'm slowing down without lacrosse.

tampa cath isn't a club team anymore, so no they wont work

Citrus Park, Wesley Chapel, Clearwater, or St. Pete should all take players from any high school. Go to Tampabaylacrosse.com to find out info for each of those teams.
What position do you play. I play for Wesley Chapel and we would be happy to take any new player, eventhough we are a far drive.

WC currently 7-1
Clearwater 6-2
St. Pete 1-7

Warlax16: I play goal, but I can play d-middie when needed. Thanks for the info though, I'm going to look into it, I think WC is about a half-hour drive from here (I live near macdill AFB).

I think Citrus Park would be closer, or maybe even Clearwater. Wesley Chapel is about 30 or 40 minutes from the International mall (I think that is close to MacDill) just to give you an idea.

Oh snap, I just spoke with coach Ebaugh at Plant and they are allowing me to play the remainder of the season!

I've been playing since 7th grade, I started playing at Syosset, NY, continued playing after moving to Glenview, IL, and now here I am in Tampa, FL.
