Whoever says that all Americans don't care about WBC is wrong, and it's proven by the Korea vs. Japan game at Angel Stadium. The announced attendance was 39,000 and about 32,000 of them had to be Koreans that were chanting and going nuts the entire game. Everytime Ichiro's name was called, you could just feel the hate coming from the Korean fans. And the final inning was absolutely nuts, especially with Korea winning 2-1, 2 outs, and a man on first. It looked really crazy when the Korean team jogged around the field high fiving the fans, and just weird when a Korean player planted a flag on the mound.

I seriously hope that if US wins today, the same kind of intensity is shown from the fans, but I highly doubt it. My guess is that the crowd will be mostly Mexican.

Too bad Japan didn't win.
I would have laughed so hard that the US got booted...
Goooo Mexico!

I wish they didn't presell the tickets. I know it's standard procedure, but we're going to be seeing a pretty neutral American crowd there.
