Offense Or Defense?

I'm a first year attack on my team, and I'm a bigger guy and they know that I can lay a good hit on people. Some of the longpoles on my team are trying to recruit me to play defense (though our Defense is really a great squad). So shoud I go defense, or stay with what I really like to play?

Welcome to the Forum Splitter_Attack. Although defensemen do pray to darker, more fouler deities that demand sacrifices (God bless them all), I recommend that you stick with what you like to play. Ultimately, your enthusiasm for the position will become a deciding factor. A person can only be pushed so far in a position, but when they play what they love, they give more than they could. Their passion fuels the position.

y not play middie? then you get the best of both worlds and everyteam needs a good middie that can play some good old ill woop your *** if you try to score defense and being a big guy as you are you could turn out to be that very middie

I think you should play middie or attack. I say this because your d team is already great(not saying anything about you) so why not go help out the attack. If your big that makes it better too.

ya if you've already got a beastly defense why switch?you could have the best defense in the nation but if you have noone that can score goals it's going to be hard to win games...on our team right now...we've got like 12 defenders(including LSM) but the 4 of us that start play the entire game so it's really useless & they all end up playing down on JV....as laxdemon said stick to what you love...if defense is really what u want switch, but in my opinion id say attack or possibly middie
