Most people break there bones but some don't. But for the people who do you can post that tragic tale or funny one on how you broke one of your bones. I will start.
I was at camp with my friend and it was the middle of the night. (it was also the last night of camp)
We were going through the camp and one of the councelers was with his girlfriend. We did some stuff(can't say it) and he got super pissed and was going to chase us. We ran off and I tripped and kept running and felt my arm go limp. I ran for 10 more feet and fell on the ground.
I looked at my arm and it was twisted around. Just great. They took me to the hospital and my dad had to drive an hour from the hotel to the hospital. The told me that I had snapped my humerous or something and twisted the bone completely around. They had to twist my arm back to keep it from getting worse. Then I had surgery and they put three pins in my arm and a full arm cast.
Now I have pin scars on my arm because the pins were sticking out of my arm.

(Wow I'm starting alot of threads)

I have had both of my middle fingers broken. Both were broken fighting my brother. They were also broken a month apart. Not fun. They healed well, but the knuckle on each middle finger is rather... exaggerated to put it nicely. Something was completely annihilated in my left middle finger so that I can now just bend it back like this __/ at the knuckle and can control the very tip of the finger to move independently. Odd. Thanks big bro! Even though he broke both middle fingers, I won the fights. You have got to love sibling rivalry when it meets T2.

I also broke one of the metatarsels (sp) in my right foot in college. I had been imbibing a concoction intended to induce Dionysian effects for some time. I left my apartment, stepped out and over a ledge missing six stairs and came crashing down making my leg go from the classic "L" shape to a simple "|" shape. Obviously things were wrong, and many people were freaked out. I didn't think anything of it. I was quite out of it and just maneuvered it back to where it was supposed to be. I couldn't walk on it so I figured I needed stronger shoes. I had a pair of Frankenstein hiking boots and so I put them on and laced them up as tight as possible and went on my merry, yet limping way. Next day I got a visit from Mr. Pain and he came with the whole pain family. I went to the nurse's office and she was not surprised. Her family and mine were good friends, and so the first thing she asked was had I been promiscuous as a way of explaining my injury. I replied yes, but that was not the cause of the injury. After going to the hospital it turns out I had done the right thing (somehow) in keeping my foot isolated and secure as I did. I had fractured the metatarsel straight through, had to wear a walking cast (sucked in the rain) and limp around for some time. The good news is that my foot healed. The bad news is that everytime the barometric pressure changes suddenly my foot kills me. :thumbsdow

Well, My first game of Under 13's lacrosse. About Halfway through the 2nd quarter I bumped and I fell on my left hand. My thumb hurt a bit, but not alot so I went off and got someones Dad to get me some ice. I got subbed on into the 2nd string Midfield and took FO. My thumb was feeling fine, until I tried to take a shot. It hooked left and I was in so much pain. So Mum drove me to the hospital, and sure enough I busted my thumb. So I was out for about 3 weeks, and I got dropped to Div II Under 13's.

I also broke my index and my middle fingers on my right hand play lacrosse. I just tried to run the ball out of Def and got a slap check. They hurt so I just taped my glove up and kept playing. I went back to the doctors about 6 months later, he said that they had been broken but they had already joined back, and there really wasnt much he could do.

If anyone had seen my Stack's and Crashes thread from a while back, you could tell I shattered my nose. I didn't feel it though, so that was alright. But I can bend my nose over now and do cool stuff with it.

Kind of a silly story, but my friend dared me to ride my razor scooter down this huge hill with no feet. I basically did a superman-type thing and layed my stomach on the handlebars and my hands straight out. I lost my balance, hit a rock, flipped over the handlebars, landed on my right arm, and then broke the rest of my fall with my left hand and rolled over onto my back. My neighbor was outside mowing his lawn so he came to help. After the ambulance drove me to the hospital, it turns out I had broken my radius and ulna in my right arm, and the radius in my left arm. Because of the force of breaking the fall, my left collarbone also broke.

For six weeks, I had a cast on both of my arms.

Well, last year I was walkin to school early for basketball practice with my guitar on my back and my amp in my right hand. I went to take a shortcut and I slipped on some ice; I tried to save my guitar, but in the process I landed on of the corners of the amp. On my back. I got up, picked up my amp, and walked to school.I had pain in my lower back all day, but I sucked it up and spent the morning in school. After a horrbile morning I had my mom pick me up and bring me to the doctors.

I had broken a rib, and cracked 3 others, not to mention a bunch of bruised ribs. I'm never gonna forget that one.

i have the funniest AND most painful story i bet haha all in one

ok, junior year we were in gym playing badminton. i had been the 2 time defending singles champion, so you know, i couldnt be slackin off. my opponent hit the ball behind me and as i ran back to hit it i slipped on someones shirt that was randomly on the floor. i fell and landed, breaking my wrist. it wasn't deformed or anything but i knew it was broken, and this girl at the other end of the gym heard it break. so we went to the hospital, and the xrays showed that both bones in my arm had been pushed into the other ones. that is hard to explain but my radius crushed into my radius, and my ulna crushed into my ulna, making my arm about 2 unches shorter than the other one. then in the hospital, they put my fingers in a chinese handcuff like apparatus and put a 10lb wieight on my bicep. this sort of loosened my bones i guess. then they pumped me full of morphine (which ROCKS by the way, but i didnt get enough to help me). they then pulled my bones away from eachother, and set them properly. my dad could hear that going on outside of the hospital room. OUCHIES, anyway it healed ok and i'm good now. like former lax, whenever the barometric pressure drops usually when it rains, it hurts like a mother.

as for broken bones, i have a broken index finger right now, i've broken my right hand twice, all of the figers on my left, both thumbs, my right kneecap, 3 toes on the right, 2 on the left, and a bone in my heel.

I had a boxers fracture in my hand, and I broke my wrist in like 7th grade.

Back in 7th grade, it was a kinda wet sunday morning. I think February 2nd. My friends came and woke me up early to go play football...turns out it was much more like a wrestling match almost. But I caught the ball *unfortunately* and I was running as hard as I could. I got tackled from behind left leg slipped out in front of me and i dont remember teh full impact. I tried to get up and I felt the top half of my femur move, but the bottom half didnt. I fractured my femur and was in the hospital for 12 days of traction, had an external fixator (a set of 4 pins up and down my leg that stuck out into another thing to stabilize the bone to heal properly) for like 4-5 months? i dont remember exactly. and then part of the time i was in wheel chair, walker, crutches cain and the start of 8th grade year i was 100 percent again. Quite possibly the worst 6 month span in my life. I had to have help for EVERYTHING.
I wasnt supposed to be able to run well again I think, and yet I didnt start playing lacrosse until 11th grade :) I like when people try and stack the deck against me, it makes me work harder to prove them wrong

I was 13, in my friend's garage and I was trying to impress this girl by taking a shot at the bench press they had in their garage. Of course I had never bench pressed before so putting up 135 as a little noodle arm kid wasn't exactly the best idea. Long story short- My left arm broke under the weight, the bar fell on me...and the girl I was trying to impress saved me by helping lift the bar off me.

i had a broken pinky finger that healed with a slight "arc" but its nice b/c it wraps around my lax stick nicely. 3 broken ribs from a friend that ran in the opposite direction of me and thought it was a good idea to punch me in the ribs so it felt like a brick being thrown at me.

your are one of the stupidest people i have ever met...lol..this one made me laugh like none other. i broke my collar bone last saturday snowboarding...i jumped from over 100 feet out of the heli, landed right, but couldnt keep it up as i dropped off the first 50 footer cliff. just kidding. it was one of those lame falls off a 6 foot cliff onto the flats. i 3'd off it, and landed straight, but then hit a bump and fell right on the flats. i dont even know how it broke...but it did. and now i am out for a while.

I broke my tibia skateboarding, my toe playing lacrosse(a huge dude stomped on it with cleats), several fingers playing lacrosse, one finger playing volleyball(long story), and a rib while riding my bike.

I broke my toe when I was in grade 8 and had a cast up to my knee.

In grade 6 I was golfing in Jasper and fell somehow, and landed reallllly badly on my shoulder, and broke my collar bone. That has gotta be the most pain that I have ever been in. The bone completely snapped in half and my shoulder was like hanging (if that makes sense) and then the other half of the bone started sticking up and it was almost poking through my skin. That took a long time to recover from hahah.

i'm one of those people that can't seem to break a bone no matter what.

i've hit a tree skiing going super fast, i've wrecked really hard on my dirtbike tones of time, i've off tall things, all that good stuff... but not one broken/fractured whatever bone.

back in 5th grade, i was playing around on some pear bins that were on their sides, (so 4 feet high) and i was jumping from one to another and i only went like halfway and smashed my shins and landed on my shoulder fracturing my collarbone. then last year the day before daily double for football, i got in a head on crash in the orchard on my fourwheeler with my cousin. i had a concussion, broken nose, and three stiches on my upper lip. my cousin was perfectly fine

I punched a wall and i think i broke my hand. when i punched the wall I didnt tell my parents though because they would have gotten pissed for me doing something so stupid, wich in hindsight not telling them was more stupid

4 weeks ago i broke my radius (first break ever). unfortunatly i didnt know it was broken in half( noone told me) i thought it was only a hairline fracture. so now due to my doctors stupidity, i am having surgery to correct my bone, which is currently bent at a 15 degree angle at the break :crying:
