PS: This is pre-top coil....its in there now, but not in the pics.

If you didnt notice, i cleaned the head up alot, it was a very ugly brown, but i took an old toothbrush and a bar of soap to it, and BAM! sparkling white!

Looks pretty good. I wish that I could see more in the pictures, but it looks like you have the leathers attached to the string and not the head. One thing, in stringing the Rock-it Pocket, you need the top coil first to make the beginning of one side of stringing. I guess there is more than one way to the "Rock-it" than the actual version. I actually toyed making one with one string to form the center, then two separate strings make the sides (not the single string that is needed). It really made stringing a Rock-it Pocket simpler and boils the time to string one down for me to just over five hours.

p.s. The coil really is the hardest part.

I have my own little trick for the top coil, so its much easier, and faster....nat an exact rp, but a varitaion.

Oh I totally agree. I have now switched to my variation of the Rock-it Pocket when I string them. My brother asked me to string one for him the original way, so I took the time to do it for him, and after stringing them my new improvised way, it took a lot longer.

Just the cost of materials, plus a 10 dollar labor fee. So like 16 bucks.

EndlesFimbulvet

Yeah, I meant black jima leathers in general, they dont even have to be in sticks. Just the white parts on the side. Its a stringing pet peeve of sorts.
