Alrite boys prom is comming up soon. I just wanted to hear some of the best/most creative ideas you have done or have heard ppl have done to ask girls to prom here's the coolest thing that i know some1 did. He had his girlfriend drive him home from somewhere and told her to drive fast cauze he was really late. He had a cop waiting to pull them over and waiting to give her a speeding ticket. The cop came upto her window went through the normal stuff license, proof of insurance, do u know how fast u were going? while she was upset about getting a speeding ticket the police officer then said well i can either give u a speeding ticket or u can go to prom with the guy next to u.. i thought this one was pretty cool. Lets hear some other ways so i can use it haha

i can only imagine... when i got pulled over, yeah, i think i needed to change after that...
anyways, to get back on topic, i've never seen anything really creative. just things like a rose and part of the letter during each of the others 7 classes.

How long before prom are you supposed to ask the girl out? I have Junior Prom in May, and a bunch of people are telling me to ask this one girl who I like (they didn't know I like her though) and people think she likes me too. She'd probably say yes, but I don't know WHEN to do it.

I kidnapped a girl exactly a month ago. Did it with one of her friends. Had her blindfolded in the car and all. Brought her to a restaurant and bought her some waffle fries. Those are hard to find around here, and we both are quite fond of them. Good times. AND she said yes.
My prom is April 28th.

Sooners better than later, what if some1 else asks her or something better safe than sorry lol
Guys are pretty much stuck with a girl if that girl wants to go with them cauze then she tells all her friends and they tell all the other girls so u dont really have a chance with other girls. I dk mayb thats just me but im kinda in that situation but its not like i dont like the girl or nething
My prom is nearly 2 months away. Like, May 20th. Dang. Same day as state championships, and we haven't even had our first game. I'll probably ask in about a month. I hope our team can contend this year, but if not at least I can go to prom, eh? Last year I made her a cake. This year I'm going to record myself doing Napoleon Dynamite's dance from Napoleon Dynamite. Wearing a shirt that says something like "Dan for Prom" instead of Vote for Pedro. How rad would that be? I already had one girl tell me she'd go with the guy pretty much no matter what. Not that I'm really concerned about that part of it. Crap, I gotta start saving money for it. Prom is so expensive. And I'm hungry.

My friend just asked me the other day. He had me go to New York City with him and his family. We were walking around through central park and this huge crowd of people. And he pulled me to the side and was like, "So what are you doing in May?" and I was like, "What, you mean March right" Then he was like no, May. And then he was just like want to go to prom with me. haha, the cute part was the NY thing.

Last year my prom was April 23rd and I asked my date in January. It's never too early to ask. It's better to ask early than to ask later and she's already taken...

As is mine, but tickets are already on sale, for the cheapest that they will get. Plus ASK NOW, not many free girls are gonna be around in April. Girls love when you ask them to prom, they dont care if its March or not.

how much are your prom tickets? ours are 110 and that doesnt include post-prom :whyme:
Um....
So my prom costs $20 for tickets. Throw in a super sick Ecko pinstriped tux (making a repeat performance, except this year I won't get lost on the way to the dance) plus all the accessories for $110 or so, dinner for around $50 or more, training of the Napoleon Dynamite dance moves, pictures for about $40-ish, and the hard work to clean the crap out of my car, you're looking at lots of investment from me. Anything I'm forgetting? I dunno. Last year I got my tickets for free because my date was on junior committee. Score. Our prom is run by the juniors. We have Homecoming, Harvest, Christmas, Valentine's, Morp and Prom. Guys ask to Homecoming, Valentine's and Prom, which is fine, and I didn't get asked to Morp. 5/6 ain't bad. Gotta figure out who to ask for prom. A lot can change in 2 months, so I'll ask in about a month and stuff. Woohoo.

And that is why Xeclipse keeps his woody covered :chuckle: But for this year's prom (Senior), I'm asking my girl in a cute way. I'm going to buy a little blow up pool and fill it with some fish (this is going to happen in her house while shes at work) and either write on a window or make a poster that says "With all the fish in the sea, will you go to Prom with me?" Then give her a rose. If anyone uses my plan before me, tell me how it works out.

I think the "hard work to clean the crap out of his car" means that he is providing the transport.
Yeah, post-prom for good Mormon kids usually means hanging out at some kid's house and watching a movie. Last year it was Princess Bride and my date was mad at me so I got her home by 12:30. I got home from Christmas at about 1:45 or 2:30 or something like that. My parents were a little mad, but they never gave me a curfew, and I mentioned that they always told me to come home when everything was dying down. Prom sucked for my entire group last year pretty much. I got lost and only two kids got any action, I think. Some kisses. Woohoo. Heck, I'd be stoked for a kiss, and I wouldn't want anything more actually, but either way 7/9 of us got hosed. I still don't know who to ask. It's hard these days. I want this to be freaking epic as heck, you know?

ok, so theres this girl that is probably the best girl-friend i've ever had...by that i mean she's a friend that just so happens to be a girl...never dated. We've always got along well and our dad's work together and her whole family loves me. She's hinted a number of times that she wants to go with me to prom, and I've really been considering asking her. She isn't the best looking girl in the world, but she's classy and makes her self look good with what she has to work with. I'd give her a 7 outta 10.
The thing I want to know though is: when prom is done and everyones at the afterparty, am I expected to hang around with her the whole time? Because I tend to be the kinda guy that consistently gets lucky at parties. I'd love to get some action after prom but I just couldn't do it with this girl because it would be insanely awkward afterwards. So if I ask her, will I be forced to be by her side all night, or can I still go hunting for other girls? Or should I just ask a different girl alltogether?
ya i know...im pretty shallow

wolfie, cut it out. Dan, I had the same after-prom as you, as far as just hanging out and watching a movie goes. Don't worry. Except it involved a hot tub. But other than that, about the same.
Mmm, hot-tubbin' with my pasty-white body! Whoo-hoo! I'll keep my clothes on. I'm not really worried about it. I'm one of those new-fangled/old-fangled "abstainers" the youth keep mentioning these days as it is. Just that, most people ask the girl they like to prom. You hope that girl likes you. You hope it all works out. And then it doesn't. And it sucks. Whatever, this prom will be epic.

you worry too much dan. I'm pretty pale myself, and you just have to tell yourself to not worry about it. Just put on some muscle to make up for it.
Well, in all actuality, I don't really care about either of those things. Basically I don't feel like taking off my tux and getting into a bathing suit at all to begin with, and the other thing is that none of my friends have hot tubs. Seems like plenty of girls do, though. Anyway, um, really, I'm not concerned about prom and I'm not the least bit worried. I'll dance it up and have a blast and we'll figure out what to do after, and it will probably involve pie. I love apple pie so freakin' much. So all is good and I don't really care. I'm not taking high school too seriously at this point. I'm already in to my school of choice and now I just need to make the money to pay for it. Woohoo.

whoa to all you people saying its never too early to ask someone, yeah i will prove you wrong...but it was Homecoming, not prom(we have a senior-only prom)
SO yeah i was really tight w/ this girl and i asked her a month before homecoming...but by the time homecoming came around, i liked one of her best freinds and we really just...hated each other in every sense of the word. We still dont talk. Yeah it was really bad.
It sucks that my school has just a senior prom...juniors can go, but they have to be invited by a senior. Well maybe that makes it a more memorable experience? IDK

It also dosen't put as much pressure on the Class Council to raise enough money for 2 proms.
