well my stx c405 is just a standard shaft...nothign fancy although i think ill upgrade soon
anyways a friend of mine mentioned cutting it because a shorter stick is easier to dodge with and handle
have people had good or bad experiences with cutting ur shafts and what are the pros and cons of it
thanks in advance

Are you talking about cutting a d-pole down to a shortie, or a shortie to an even smaller shortie?

head and shaft together have to be at least 40 inches. so be careful with your cutting. if shorter and your stick is illegal and you cant play with it.

yeah that will work. it might help a little with protecting your stick with your body... but i would just leave it. its kind of a waste of time to cut a stick down 2-3 inches. and it might void the warrantee.

u should...i did it to my TI triax...took forever but losing an inch really afftects the way o feel the stick as an attackman...i also did it on the stick my little brother is learining to play with

the key is to have a shaft thats strong and that ur comfortable with...if u work out any stick can be light...

Remember to keep two extra inches on the shaft beacuse of the way the head attaches.

a pole is 60 inches i thought? so if u cut to 30 inches a piece, and ur head is 10 inches u should be fine
just be careful

Eh, if you end up being too short anyway, just tape the end up a bit.
