Well, practice is starting for me tommorow, and I have a new db803 that I've been wanting to cut down. Normally I use either a saw, or go to automotives and have my shaft cut down. Unfortunately I just moved and I don't have assess to a saw or an autos room.

So just curious is anyone knows a good way to cut a shaft. If not I'm going to be getting my shaft caught on the cage alot and become really frustrated, then I'll probably break my own shaft...

Thanks for any help!

no hacksaw? Just give it to a teammate to do and mark it where you want the cut.

What's the problem?

Cheap hacksaws are available at a number of $1 stores. If you go to a proper hardware store, a decent one might cost you all of $10.

have a muffler shop in the neighborhood? They can do it for you in a second. I had my gear lost by an airline once, and I was able to find a shop and get new gear but they didn't have a saw to cut down the shaft. I saw a Midas muffler across the street, took the shafts in, explained the problem, guy cut them down for me in 2 seconds.

Dremel with a cutoff wheel?

I always thought dremels kind of resembled the nail tools they use in cheap nail salons.

...So, if you know any vietnamese women who work at a nail salon..

Go to a hardware store and buy a hacksaw.

Thanks a bunch, I'm going to try this.

I didn't opt for the hacksaw since the nearest hardware store is like 15 minutes away, and I'm on a budget for gas.

Cut it with the power of your mind.

Yeah, do that...OR just use my chant "Shaft be cut!""schwoahaha" IT always works...but just find a guy with a saw an dget him to do it...

Or chew on it for a good while.
