I searched deuce, stx deuce, and looked in the review sticky, but didnt find anything about the deuce. What do you you all think about it? Im debating on getting one, and Im wondering what you think.

I hear that they can break very easily...

I used some kid's Deuce for about 5 minutes of passing and catching with it, and I thought it was a pretty decent head for an attack. I liked the pinch on it because it seemed to have a good pinch that gave me control of the ball, but it was also easy to catch with. I think it would be a pretty good attack or middie head, just not too great for the middie when they are down playing D because of its flexibility. I'd also be a little concerned about the durability of it because its seems a little flimsy.

ok thanks for your opinions, I just got switched to attack so im not to worried about the flexibility. Im also not horribly worried about durability because Im not much of a stick checker, I usually play body and dont throw a lot of wrap/poke/ stick checks. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't crap, and that the money would be well spent.

I have one and it is a decent head mine hasnt broke still. I really like the pinch on the deuce but i like the pinch on the primer even more. I would recommend looking into the primer over the deuce its the same weight and it is stronger and easy to catch with. The deuce seems kind of small but the primer doesnt.

Decent head. I loved mine. My dog chewed it and it broke on the chew marks. I much like a pinched h2 more and its alot stronger

you should read the reviews at http://www.laxshopper.com/

i only know a couple people who have dueces and they seem to break pretty quickly

i would agree with the kid who said go for the primer. its alot nicer and wont break as easily. very similar pinch.

i love the deuce, they are weak, but the pinch is so great and overall i really like it. primer looks similar though, and stronger.

I agree with that completely. Or maybe try an answer or proton power or something, too.

it is amazing, the ball never comes out. i have broken so many though, all in the same spot

stx actauly made them wrong, and that is why they all broke, but im sure they have fixed that by now so all the reviews on the weakness may not be totaly accurate

I have one, and I never use it. It is too pinched for my tastes. I much prefer the Profile. In fact, the only reason I have the Duece is because I broke a Profile during warm-ups (in sub-zero temps mind you) and I needed to have a new backup since I was now using my backup and my team supplier was out of Profiles.

or if you want to be even more safe go with the revo pro, but for attack anyhead will really do fine. i havn't played with one yet. but also keep in mind that a d-boy can do some screwed up things to your stick in a game too.

Dueces are nice heads except for the fact that they break really easily. If you get one, be sure it has a warranty.
