Im in need for some dodge drills. i only do 2 things to help my dodges
- dodge trees
- dodge my friends in practice
i need help, cuz we were doing this drill called the gauntlet at practice. (cones are set up at about 10 feet apart, you then dodge one defender, and another) it is hard as hell because you only have limited room. thats when i noticed i wasn't the best dodger. so i need some help.

cones, anything u can mark on the ground, if u have a big room, u can slo mo in front of a mirror, see how well ur body is protecting ur stick
if u cant see the stick, the defender cant

if you have a goal in your backyard, set up chairs, dodge them and then shoot on the goal.

Mark Millon's Offensive Wizardry--BUY IT if you want to learn how to dodge well. It gave me a new perspective on how to dodge, and also shows you a few drills.

Trees!!!!!! thats what I use. I know its not a very good standin because it doesnt move but after repitition you get the motion down and its alot easier when the real thing comes along

If you want a little more competition than just a tree, tape a stick to the side of it. This acts as a more realistic defender and enables you to practice doggy paddle, split, and some other dodges to a greater extent.
have 5 or 6 of your teammates jog slowly in a straight line with about 5 yards in between each of them. run towards them and dodge each person. when you get to the back start jogging with them and the person in the front starts dodging. kind of like an indian sprint type concept
