They are very durable. And are basically awesome.

Get a box or Monster if you want it to last forever

my box is amazing...its wood though sooo it scratches fairly easily...if you can find an original harrow box shaft...with wood on the inside and titanium on the outside that would be awesome. At powell camp a couple years ago they gave them to us and i got a new model one but my friend got an original....so jealous

Um... what are you talking about, my friend has the original box, It is just a normal composite shaft.

a d-pole on my team has been through 2 howitzers in 2 weeks. they have been snapping like twigs. I have never seen a shorty break tho

Question: Are the Field Attacks meant to have a wood insert in them or was that only in the first ones? Because mine is like that.

I had an old Ibeam that I snapped with wood inserts... The inserts don't go through the whole shaft anyway, just part. And it's really weak wood that doesn't help durability

ill take a picture of my harrow box compared to my friends harrow box, his is metal, mine is composite.

i think it could go in either, your shaft is part of your stick.

alright this harrow thing is just a fad man i have gone through 3 and still they suck then again i am 6,7 feet tall and 250 lbs i can hit hard but still they are to weak is almost like you are using a piece of tupperwear for your shaft go for a gait orange crusher or brine f-15 man there the best in the west

There not a Fad but then again it's my opinion . http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Fad that is the definition of Fad. Maybe its just my opinion but they have been out long enough to be considered not a Fad. I think they make quality shafts and they also have great customer service, you would know that because you have broken 3 right? I dont know about you but after 2 breaking " easily" I would try a new shaft.

True that. Look inside the junior and you will see.

All the new ones are half hollow so they can fit the neckless heads were its like a half moon that goes in half the shaft. And didnt that Stx head already us that idea?

I have a box.

Harrows are decent, but they're no lighter and no tougher than a decent metal shaft. Other than being more expensive, the only thing they have over metal is a nice paint job with exotic rubberized paint.

If you love the grip that this gives and can't live without it.....well, buy a Harrow.

If you're like me and are perfectly willing to use grip tape instead of exotic paint, I'd recommend buying the unpainted harrow model at half the price, or just a good metal shaft instead.

Yeah, I just got a Howitzer 'bout a month ago, It's so perfect and great. The only thing is on the butt end of the stick, the paint peels off. But if any one wants to buy a Harrow, I would def recomend a Howitzer

Well, what do you think about using Harrow's for regular field lacrosse? Which one is the lightest and best for Middy/Attack? My coach retails Harrow and can get us gear for a huge price reduction, and he says the Howitzer is great. Any ideas?

Right now I got a Warrior Criss-Cross and at our game yesterday I hit this guy and it got a really bad dent in it (probably gonna snap if I dont switch soon).

Thanks

cool, thanks for sharing!

harrows are generally great shafts to get and their customer service is awesome. I recommend you buy one. It should last pretty well if you get a monster, howitzer, or box

get the howitzer or the box or the new non tapered howitzer
.

+1 for the best customer service in lacrosse
harrow for the win

but due to thier composite construction, they do not dent or bend like metal shafts can. the paint just chips. i know htat is a large reason why i wanted one. plus many kids still tape up harrows anyways the grip isnt as extreeme as most people believe.

Little dent = who cares?

Bend = should have bought a tougher shaft!
(If you use a metal shaft that weighs the same as a Harrow box, it ain't bending easily!!)

If you're going to tape a Harrow, the paint doesn't do sheet. Save your money and buy the unpainted version.....it's like half price.

anyone who says that they break multiple harrows in single weeks are just flat out lying. my straight pole is over two years old, and i got a howie pole for christmas. both are still going strong. They are great shafts, they rarely break, and their customer service is the best of any lax company. Buy them

My Box lasted me a season and then I got a nice check to it and it splintered 1/4 down the shaft. I loved it while it lasted but the box at least deffinitally wont last forever.

i broke a green harrow i beam and a white harrow feild attack 1 in each game with 3 practices in between.
idk why id lie about it but if u dont belive me thats cool
ask my warrior c405/TiPro(lasted most of my sr year)/TiClassic/flipgrip/dimond/al6000/kriptopro and my harrow ibeam(two of them)/feild attack/box
the only one to make it more than a month or two has been the howitzer
how ever as of now my aresenal a brine TI22 gait ICE stx SCI TI and the howitzer all with a nice duce on the top.
they all have yet to let me down over 4 months of use. inface the SCI TI has not got a dent yet and has replaced the howitzer for now.

and yes i did mean the monster i havnt tried that one yet maybe this summer

You must put your stuff up to so much abuse! Kinda funny that you have one of the weakest heads on the market, how long has that lasted you?

Monster will last forever. I made that kinda unclear.

Get a box or if you want it to last forever get the Monster.

The RITA guy is full. The deuce would have tanked before allll those shafts. Get a life, I assume he doesn't like harrow for whatever reason. Harrows are good quality shafts. A good metal one can be just as good. But harrows feel different something about them just feels really good in my hands.

A lacrosse player's relationship with Harrow is either love or hate. Some players like the durability and grip of the field attacks, boxes, monsters and howitzers, and some dislike the texture and the possible breakage in field attacks and ibeams.

I'm kinda partial to Harrow as they have survived many a game and practice with me. I currently own 2 Boxes, 1 Field Attack, and 1 Monster. One of my boxes has lasted 2 seasons of box and 1.5 of field in between. The other one is brand new. The Monster is new. The field attack I have had for 2.5 years or around 60 games.

i m in love w/ harrow. i own 2 ibeams which have held up very well, and im looking into a field attack . harrow is my favorite shaft producer, for the weight, strength and grip of their shafts......basically harrows are good investments and i highly recommend them.
