Patrick H. is nothing compared to the program that Salem has (its true matt, dont deny it... they're playing at Roanoke Stadium this year :omg )

Dan we have a team in SWVA, (Christiansburg, Auburn, Blacksburg) its the NRVLC (New River Valley Lacrosse Club). We play with the three teams in Roanoke (Patrick Henry, Salem, Cave Spring, E.C. Glass) and we play Fishburne Military Academy and Rockbridge this year (who by the way Mat we beat :angel )....

Hold up.. you live in the burg now?

They (not we, cause I graduated) practice at the Christiansburg Middle School (its a centralized location and its close to the coaches house). Our coach played lax in Maryland and play D1 at Radford (Back when they were D1). The C'burg Middle School down 460 towards downtown C'burg, its next to the firestation, sonic, pizza INN..etc.

there are some pretty good teams in california- la costa is one of them along with torrey pines and coronado and st ignatius, spencer wright is from san diego and look at how good he did at syracuse. There must be a reson that lots of pro players are moving out to san diego and still playing. . . try that on for style

hey hey, i dont know about that salem stuff. although i have to agree the are the most consistent, successful team. they are better organized and everything. we seem to pick up a lot of hodgepodge, random guys from the school and turn them into a successful team. we are still the wildcards every year since the quality of the team sways back and forth. even still, we beat them 8-5 at their place last week when we played them. yours truly had 3 goals and two assists. and that's with louie out. and yeah, i heard about you guys beating rockbridge. that sweet. the nrv guys are def. improving. give them a few more years, and i can see them competing for the champoinship. for the moment, though, its still salem and ph romping around.

Not to mention that, Delby recruits kids from all over the State including some Lakes kids to play for their school! Private schools are a joke as they hand pick their players as opposed to a town where you are limited to kids who live in town, ONLY! I hope you guys kick their arse!!:agree :bye

i applied there as a sophomore and got rejected. i definitely met their standards SAT-wise. i applied to deerfield academy for a PG year, but they turned me down because, according to a "hint" from the lacrosse coach, i wasn't a two-sport athlete. plus, my GPA wasn't exactly on par.
