This is a trick stick i made using my broken razor. It was broken at the scoop so i folded the peices over and taped it down. the scoop is now 6 inches making it illegal for field and a trick stick. It throws alright, not perfect, but the reason for that is obvious. Other than that it is sweet, just like a guru trick stick. O yea, and the razor is strung with pita that i did before it broke.

I kinda like it and im thinkin about finding a way to clean it up a bit and make it throw nicer. maybe sawing off some of the plastic so it doesnt over lap. Comments, criticism, ideas all welcome.
EDIT: I taped it together a little closer now so its tighter at the scoop.

Sweet deal...Try this to make the scoop hold together better:
Try drilling holes through the scoop (through both "sides") and then thread some wire through the holes and cover it with tape. It should hold up better and last longer in the long run.
Great idea, though!

alright, that sounds like it will make it hold better than tape. thanks for the feedback brandon.

u could also use a soldering iron to melt the two pieces together then sand then smooth, like that other person (sorry forgot the name) did

yeah nice ingenuity, way to make use of that broken stick, if you do the soldering thing, i just got this idea to help reinforce it, whe you melt the plastice try sticking paper clips into the melted plastic to reinforce it like so they are like a bone it the plastic, just an idea

how does that make it a trick stick? is like any pinched stick considered a trick stick? or can u do all the guru trick stuff with that?
PCHSlax5

Its a trick stick because it is pinched illegally at the scoop (more so than in the pics if u read my edit) and yes i can do the guru trick stuff with it.

sorry i was just having a bad day
i just didnt understand why just because it wasnt field legal, you considered it a trick stick. It's more of just a pinched stick.
not a big deal though i guess

PCHS do what brandon said by drilling holes, but instead of using safty wire try using some rivets, they'll work better and last longer and also look better

why would u ruin a perfectly good head...

i don't think he did that to a perfectly good head....if you read the first sentence or two you will notice that he said
"This is a trick stick i made using my broken razor. It was broken at the scoop so i folded the peices over and taped it down."

thank you sachems for clearing that up, yes i used an already broken head to make this stick. And thanks for the rivet idea too sounds like it would work well and be stronger.

i was just wondering did you brake this stick playing or did you just brake it because you wanted to make a guru stick. i really like the stick i just thought it would be silly to brake a good stick to make an illegal one.

ahhh, i was waiting for someone to ask that question. Funny story actually. I left my stick at my friends house one day and while I wasn't there he got a football stuck in a tree. He commensed to grab the nearest object he could throw up to knock it out which happened to be my stick. He threw it up trying to get the football down and it went up came straight down landing on the scoop and cracking it. It was a big fluke accident, but kind of frustrating.
So to answer your question it was already broken when i did this. I did not break it just to make a guru out of it and i never would.

Yea man you can definately pull some sick fakes with it. Its really whippy so the ball like wont come out until you really follow through. I can even do sick back-breaker fakes with it.

PCHS a kid on my team had a brand new savage and he broke it in like 5 days and he left it at our practice field and he broke it in the same exact spot and so i claimed it because he didn't grab it after practice so i'll post some pics of it with a rivet in it when i do it soon
