Are Box Goalie Sticks Different From Field Goalie Sticks

i am a box goalie and for the first time i am going onto the field and playing goaltender. Is there a difference between a box goalie stick and a field goalie stick. What modifications can i make to my box stick to make it better suited for the field? Also any tips that would help me would be great

in my experance a box goalie going into feild is a bad thing
its too differant
and if your into box more than feild it will mass up your style for box
but if your not to serious with box and would rather play feild goalie then go a head
but grow some bigger balls
dont get me wrong you need balls and skills to step between the box pipes
but you need way more balls to do it in feild
you got no pads and krazy hard shots
because their is more windup time
trust me i played a season of feild goalie
i got board of it half way trought the season
and tired of getting hit in pratice
(wen you have no game adrelinen (sp?) it hurts)
